Rainbows

Loose on line net protection games

Yesterday, Miss Ali went out to exercise. On her way back from her run, she saw a rainbow drawing in her neighbours window.😮🌈

That made Miss Ali think....hmmm....how are REAL rainbows made?!

Year 1, can you help me by finding out how rainbows are created? What type of weather do you need for a rainbow to appear? You will need to use the internet to do this research, so remember to be safe online and to work with an adult.

You might even want to make your OWN rainbow drawing, collage or painting. Don't forget to send in your photos!
Children use colored collage material to make a rainbow from cardboard.

Weather

Brrrrrrrrrrr....Miss Ali is feeling rather cold today!😰 How are you feeling?

Can you remember what these weather symbols mean?
Weather Writing Center #preschoolclassroomsetup This packet makes a fun writing center for a Weather Theme! To prepare this center simply print and laminate the "Weather Words" page. Next, choose a writing page, photocopy it and place it in the writing center for your students! This set contains printables for all of your writers: copy words, ill...

Have a go at recording what the weather is like each day with weather symbols. Think about how you will check what the weather is like, and how you might present that information.

Here are some different ideas you might want use to show what you have noticed:
