It's a very silly story that makes me laugh a lot. What is your favourite part of the story?

Imagine that you are a famous news reporter and a spaceship has landed by your house. 🚀👽You need to interview the alien that comes out of the ship. What will you say to it?

 Prepare some questions to ask in your interview. What do you want to find out about the alien?

Literacy - Board games

Hi Year 1. How are you doing? What have you been up to lately? How are you finding learning at home?

Miss Ali has been spending a lot of time playing Ludo at home.  It is a board game that you can play with four players, and only requires a dice and counters.

Do you play any board games? Do you have a favourite game? You can tell me in the comments box below.

Your challenge today is to try and make your own board game. Think about how many players the game can have, what things you will need to play it, how can you win the game? It might be helpful if you write a set of instructions telling people how to play.

Well done to everyone that had a go at the subtraction questions yesterday.Today we are using Numicon to takeaway. Write out the number sentence next to Numicon, and then take away the smaller number from the larger number.

You might want to draw out the first Numicon, and cross out the second amount to help you like this:
